At CareConnect, we're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide to provide exceptional care to patients in their homes.
About the Role
This is an opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for providing personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as assisting with mobility and transfers.
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or patients requiring home care. You will need to be a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of NJ and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of NJ
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or patients requiring home care
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Fluent in English
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
