We are looking for a skilled Home Care Professional to deliver exceptional care to our clients in the Queens area. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing personalized care to seniors and disabled adults.
Main Duties:
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical staff.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Certified PCA or HHA certification.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and arithmetic skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
