Job Description:
In this role, you will provide exceptional care and support to patients in their homes, ensuring their safety and well-being. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, assisting with mobility and transfers, administering medications as directed by healthcare professionals, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Requirements:
- You must be a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of New Jersey.
- You need to own reliable transportation.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Fluent in English.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality.
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Satisfactory completion of a New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
