We are looking for an individual who can deliver high-quality care and support to our clients. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans that cater to each patient's unique needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- You must be a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of NY.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Able to work a minimum of 35 hours/week and every other weekend.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Fluent in English (able to speak and understand).
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
