Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care to patients, taking into account their individual needs and preferences.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare simple meals and snacks as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements:
- Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in the state of NY.
- Reliable transportation.
- Able to work a minimum of 35 hours/week and every other weekend.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Fluent in English.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
