We are seeking dedicated and compassionate home health aides and personal care assistants to provide exceptional care to our clients in the Queens area.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized care to patients in their homes, encompassing bathing, dressing, and grooming services.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals, adhering to strict protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and promptly report any changes or concerns to relevant medical personnel.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, fostering a sense of community.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
Requirements
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is mandatory.
- A thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality is essential.
- The ability to prepare simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed is required.
- Satisfactory completion of a New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency is necessary.
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills are required.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license (if applicable).
