Job Summary
We are seeking certified home health aides and personal care assistants to provide exceptional care to our clients in the Queens area. As a home health aide with Premier, you will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and stay safe at home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, and grooming for patients in their homes.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Requirements
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to prepare simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalent.
- Demonstrated literacy and arithmetic skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
