Premier is looking for certified home health aides and personal care assistants to provide care to our clients in Queens. As a home health aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the care they need to live safely at home.
About the Role
- Deliver personalized care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA).
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
- Demonstrated literacy and arithmetic skills.
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
