About Our Home Health Aide Role
Careconnect is seeking a caring and detail-oriented Home Health Aide to serve our clients in the Queens region. As a Home Health Aide, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily living assistance, such as bathing and dressing.
- Support patient mobility and transfers.
- Follow medication administration procedures.
- Track patients' vital signs and alert medical staff to any changes or concerns.
- Offer emotional support and friendship to patients and their loved ones.
- Ensure a safe and clean living environment for patients.
Requirements:
- Hold a PCA or HHA certification.
- Understand and respect patient confidentiality.
- Be able to prepare simple meals and handle light housekeeping tasks when necessary.
- Complete a state-approved HHA training program or equivalent.
- Demonstrate basic reading and math skills.
- Age requirement: 18 years or older.
