Job Description
We're looking for a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Suffolk County, NY. As a home health aide, you will provide exceptional care to our clients in their homes, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure they receive the highest level of care possible.
Your responsibilities will include providing personal care to patients, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as assisting with mobility and transfers, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support and companionship.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must be a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of NY, have reliable transportation, and be able to work a minimum of 35 hours/week and every other weekend. You must also be fluent in English, eligible to work in the United States, and have a satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
