About the Job:
- Deliver personalized care to patients, focusing on their unique needs and preferences.
- Support patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and reporting changes to medical staff.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in NY.
- Reliable transportation.
- A minimum of 35 hours/week and every other weekend.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Fluent in English.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Basic cooking skills and ability to perform light housekeeping duties.
- New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
- Literacy and arithmetic skills.
- Age requirement: 18 years old.
