We are seeking compassionate individuals to provide exceptional care and support to clients in their homes. As a Personal Care Assistant with CareConnect, you will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities, including bathing, oral care, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility tasks, such as transferring to and from beds, chairs, and walking aids.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, dish washing, and maintaining the client's living environment.
- Effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare team members while maintaining accurate records of care and client status.
- Adhere to infection control practices, maintain confidentiality, complete continuing education, and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- HHA/PCA certification in the state of PA is preferred, not required.
- You need to own reliable transportation.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Fluent in English (able to speak and understand).
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality.
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
