We're looking for dedicated and compassionate care providers to deliver exceptional home health care services in the Queens area. As a key member of our team, you will provide personal care assistance to patients in their homes, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns
- Offer emotional support and companionship
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements:
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and arithmetic skills
- Minimum age of 18 years old
