We're looking for certified home health aides and personal care assistants to provide exceptional care to our clients in the Queens area. As a Premier team member, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' safety and well-being at home.
Duties:
- Provide personalized care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties.
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
- Demonstrated literacy and arithmetic skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
