Job Description:
We're seeking skilled home health aides and personal care assistants to join our team. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with our clients and their families to provide tailored care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety
- Administering medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns
- Offering emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
Requirements:
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
- Adequate literacy and arithmetic skills
- At least 18 years old
