Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sr. Financial Analyst will support leadership and work with various departments by analyzing company data to help make informative decisions and drive better outcomes.
  • Conduct financial reporting to support KPIs tracking, variance analysis, MD&A (management discussion and analysis) and KPIs tracking.
  • Support lines of business review by preparing financials and analytics on drivers and variances.
  • Participate in annual forecast / budget process. Provide various reporting and analysis to support G&A including workforce planning, vendor / contract, revenue and margin projections. Collaborate with business partners and conduct “what if” analysis to size up the impact to various programs and initiatives.
  • Assist administering the budget tool to ensure the accuracy of the input and output. Work with vendor and IT to resolve issues. Upload budget data and run reports to ensure desired results.
  • Analyze data (both structured and unstructured data) from company databases and external data when needed to drive process improvement and business strategies.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive financial and operational excellence across the organization.
  • Perform related duties like the above in scope and function as required

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Actuary, Accounting, Economics, Applied Mathematics or equivalent field is required.
  • Minimum 3 years (or a Master degree with 2 years) of reporting and analytical experience working with financial data set and / or statements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word) including advanced level in Excel formulas and PowerPoint presentation ; Strong technical skills with experience with data manipulation including experience with BI tools (PowerBI, SQL) is a plus; Experience with reporting and planning system / tools such as NetSuite or Hyperion is a plus.
  • Healthcare / managed care experience is preferred but not required.

  • Demonstrated excellent computer and word processing skills with special emphasis on calendaring, presentation, and spreadsheet capabilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, patients, and family members.

  • Ability to work independently, set priorities and handle multiple tasks with a high level of efficiency
