This role is crucial in ensuring smooth transitions for incoming residents, supporting staff with admissions-related tasks, and maintaining facility readiness for new residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating the internal admission process, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Support staff with documentation, resident orientation, and communication related to new admissions.
- Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to facilitate a seamless transition for new residents.
- Ensure rooms and facility spaces are prepared for incoming residents, enhancing their onboarding experience.
- Provide ongoing support to staff regarding admissions policies and procedures.
- Experience in healthcare administration, admissions, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance policies is a plus
