Responsibilities:
- Resident Care First: Ensure resident care remains the top priority for all staff, with external services meeting all regulatory and organizational standards.
- Uphold Residents’ Rights: Protect residents from abuse and neglect, and provide ongoing staff training on their rights and protections.
- Maintain Staffing Levels: Oversee scheduling to ensure appropriate staffing and management coverage at all times.
- Financial Oversight: Prepare and submit financial reports aligned with corporate guidelines.
- Address Concerns: Handle complaints from employees, families, and visitors with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
- Community Engagement: Represent the facility positively within the community while promoting its services.
- Safety Leadership: Implement and monitor safety programs, including fire prevention, chemical handling, and ergonomic practices, ensuring a secure environment for all.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Long-Term Care Administrator or in a similar healthcare management role.
- A current Ohio State Nursing Home Administrator’s License in good standing.
- Proven experience in census development and fostering relationships with healthcare providers and community stakeholders.
- A record of successfully implementing operational policies and programs to deliver quality care.
