Caregiver Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Building trusting relationships with clients to ease effective care and support

Helping with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care tasks

Aiding with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship

Ability to multi-task, self-directed, suitable time management skills, courteous, and common sense.

Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the patient.

Able to work independently.

Bring happiness and peace of mind to the elderly and those with disabilities

Document/report any changes in client's health status

Ensure client safety and well-being

Document and track job duties via electronic visit verification

Provide safety, oversight and supervision of clients to ensure their ability to continue to live at home
Experience/Qualification
-
Previous experience preferred but not required.

Must be able to pass a mandatory criminal background check.

First Aid/CPR Certificate obtained prior to employment. (required)

Defensive Driving Certificate or obtained within the first month of employment.

1 year of direct care experience or equivalent educational experience (preferred)

Practices good hygiene and is neat in personal appearance (required)

Fluent in English- reading, writing, and speaking (required)

Successfully pass clearance and reference checks (required)

Able to obtain 2 step negative TB test and physical (required)
