Position Overview: CareDesk is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Entry Level Finance Associate to join our team. This role ensures accurate invoicing, payment processing, and effective communication. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting or a related field, with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Invoicing & Payment Posting:
- Post manual and electronic payments, including routing of electronic payments and ERAs
- Handle Prop 56 data entry and ensure compliance.
- Perform detailed reconciliation of payment postings to ensure accuracy.
- Review 1099 forms from insurances
- Assist with invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Process and track invoices for services and related functions.
- Organize and sort mail related to payments
- Collaborate with the coding team to reconcile and take off payment postings as needed.
2. Data Entry:
- Perform general data entry tasks related to client operations.
- Log end of day (EOD) figures for Rx, Referrals, Call Queues from EOD emails, RingCentral, and CareDesk Department group chats daily
- Coordinate and manage intake for direct manager
- Pull Patient Appointments Report and Appointments Made Report for the previous week on a weekly basis
- Update Scheduling Team Workload with previous week’s day on a weekly basis
- Prepare Weekly Provider Email to be sent out to clients on a weekly basis.
- Pull following month’s provider schedules and add to data source before the start of the new month
- Compare forecasted figures to actual figures on a monthly basis
- Update Authorizations Processed Dashboard, Charge Review Activity Dashboard, Daily Summaries Report, and Call Queue Line Graph on a monthly basis.
- Updating and maintaining databases, reports, spreadsheets, or other digital records as required.
- Ensuring data security and confidentiality at all times, following company protocols and best practices.
- Creating and maintaining documentation of activities and tasks.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Basic knowledge of Epic or similar accounting or EMR preferred.
- Prior experience in an accounting or billing role is preferred.
- Experience with manual and electronic payment postings.
- Basic experience with Excel is required.
Skills:
- Detail-oriented and meticulous with a strong ability to manage and reconcile data.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in data entry and handling various payment types.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
Expectations:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Maintain meticulous records and perform thorough data entry tasks.
- Reports to Data and Reporting Lead.
Additional Information:
- This is a Full-Time in-person position, Hybrid WFH options become eligible after 12-18 months and require a reliable internet connection speed of at least 100MBPS and a suitable workspace.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
