Controller - Remote Position
Career 1 Source is looking for an experienced Controller to join a dynamic FinTech organization during an exciting period of growth.

What you will be doing :
Oversee and execute daily accounting operations and functions including accounts payable and funds management, ensuring effective and efficient use of time and resources.
Review general ledger reports daily, ensuring balances, postings, and net changes are reasonable.
Monitor all accounts payable for accuracy of general ledger postings and ensures timely payment. Reviews payables for prior-month expense accruals and adjusts as necessary.
Update and review Federal and state tax documents.
Prepare board related financial reporting.
Complete various bank reports including the CALL report and compliance with CECL.
Additional traditional bank accounting responsibilities.
A successful candidate for this Controller job will possess the following :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
Experience : A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in banking, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge and abilities for this role.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Strong emotional intelligence
