What you will do:
Trane is hiring a Project Supervisor for Large Commercial Industrial MEP Projects! The Project Supervisor is responsible for project financials, administration, implementation, management, and customer satisfaction for all assigned projects. They lead the project team through all facets of the project and are the established point of contact for stakeholders. The Project Supervisor manages a portfolio of large-scale HVAC projects, specifically those involving at least 100-ton units (chilled water systems, building automation, cooling towers).
- Project Supervision:
- Support the Construction Project Manager by ensuring project standards align with both company and customer expectations.
- Lead specific tasks with minimal oversight, as assigned by Construction Project Manager.
- Oversee selected projects, including managing financials, administrative duties, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Team & Subcontractor Coordination:
- Manage on-site teams and subcontractors, overseeing logistics, work activities, and customer interactions.
- Provide regular updates to the project manager and handle daily project operations.
- Material Management:
- Responsible for ordering and managing materials on-site, coordinating equipment deliveries, and verifying material shipments with subcontractors.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure quality standards are maintained, identify any issues, implement corrective actions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve concerns.
What you will bring:
- 10 years of experience in the construction industry
- Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role within the commercial construction industry, with significant experience in large-scale HVAC projects
- Familiarity with HVAC systems at 80 ton unit scale, specifically chilled water and centrifugal systems.
- Previous experience managing subcontractors, materials, and project sites.
- Proficient in reading construction plans and specifications.
- Knowledgeable in project schedules, budgeting, and safety procedures.
- Strong command of MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Procore
- High school diploma required.
- Preferred: Associate’s degree from a technical college with 4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- OSHA 30 certification (preferred; Trane will facilitate if needed).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:
- DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving, or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $60,000-85,000
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
