We are seeking a highly resourceful Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a knack for identifying opportunities within systems and processes, leveraging existing and emerging technologies, and working effectively even with limited data availability. You will work independently with minimal supervision but be part of a larger team, collaborating and submitting work for review, while also reviewing the work of others. This role requires a proactive approach to project identification, workflow preparation, and execution. Additionally, the candidate must excel at effectively communicating with clients and peers to drive project success and advancement.

Where is the work:
Hybrid:
This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.
What you will do:
· Identify and develop new data science projects and opportunities within the manufacturing industry.
· Prepare detailed project workflows and execute them efficiently.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, submit work for review, and provide constructive feedback on others' work.
· Generate ETL pipelines, preprocess datasets, and develop verification and validation tools.
· Work with datasets from multiple sources and formats.
· Translate complex manufacturing requirements into actionable tasks.
· Prepare comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate project scopes and progress.
· Prepare detailed documentation for applications.
· Utilize generative AI models and manipulate them through API calls in code.
· Requires 10-20% Travel
What you will bring:
· PhD or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
· 3-5 years of experience in industry preferred.
· Proficiency in Python and SQL.
· Experience with Pymongo and NoSQL databases.
· Strong background in working with Azure.
· Familiarity with Docker containers, React, Next.js, and Flask.
· Experience in rapid application development and deployment through GitHub.
· Strong understanding of ETL processes and data preprocessing.
· Ability to develop verification and validation tools.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable tasks.
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and visualizations.
· Experience with generative AI models and API manipulation.
· Ability to work with datasets from multiple sources and formats.
Key Competencies:
· Expertise in statistics, supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques and their appropriate uses; ability to apply common modeling best practices to build models using high-volume, asynchronous time series data
· Proficiency in Python and SQL.
· Experience with Pymongo and NoSQL databases.
· Familiarity with Azure cloud services.

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $95,000 - $145,000
Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
