**Note - this position is a dual role**
Mission
The objective of the position of Receptionist is to present a positive “first impression” to the client or contact. The receptionist is to maintain a positive attitude towards returning or existing contacts, act as a communications link and screening agent between the client/contact, and provide basic information to clients when needed using appropriate discretion. Greeting new contacts and giving them a welcoming impression can be done by phone or in person.
Duties and Responsibility
In addition to the general responsibility, the Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for the following duties:
- Schedule appointments using the electronic scheduler
- Typing letters as directed
- Filing
- Preparing UPS and mailing out letters
- Data entry using RGM
- Answering phones and taking messages
- Greeting students and clients
- General office duties
- Keeps sensitive or confidential school material or documents out of view
- Maintain the Front Desk area in a neat and orderly appearance
- Cooperate with the Campus Director and other CCI staff including the Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Services, Career Services, etc.
- Clock in and out.
- Helping students contact requested or appropriate personnel
- Assist students in acquiring requested information
- Attend all required meetings
- Report any major problems to the Campus Director or Office Manager
- Maintain supplies and inventory to order supplies sufficiently in advance to allow for shipping
- Uphold and enforce school policies
- Demonstrate professional behavior and demeanor at all times with students and staff
- Maintain appropriate confidentially with staff and student issues
- Avoid using cellphones
- All problems concerning employee issues are to be addressed to the Campus Director or Office Manager in a courteous and professional manner by requesting an appointment.
- Other duties as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the Employee.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Admissions Clerk is responsible for the following duties:
- Greet students and clients
- Provide general information and services to the public
- Create letters as directed
- General office duties (file paperwork, make copies, fax, answer phones and take messages, typing letters as directed)
- Keep confidential documents out of view
- Maintain appropriate confidentially with staff and student issues
- Cooperate with the Campus Director and other CCI staff including Admissions, Financial Aid, Career Services, etc.
- Clock in and out as scheduled.
- Assist students in the process of contacting appropriate personnel and acquire requested information when needed
- Attend all required meetings
- Report any major problems to your direct Supervisor and if he/she is unavailable please report to Campus Director
- Uphold and enforce school policies
- Demonstrate professional behavior and demeanor at all times with students and staff
- Avoid using cellphones
- Provide notice of extended leave well in advance
- Fill out mandatory employee weekly reports each Friday
- Submit weekly reports/audits
- Follow up on leads
- Data entry using student software to document any notes on students or potential students
- Cooperate with the Campus Director, Office Manager, Receptionist, Student Services, Career Services, and Instructors
- Assist the Admission Representatives’ in orientation and Open House events
- Assist the Admissions Representatives’ Distribute books and supplies to students
- Assist the Admissions Representatives’ in meeting enrollment goals set by the Admissions Department
- Assist the Admissions Representatives’ in preparation for promotional activities for the school when needed
- Help students and prospective students contact requested or appropriate personnel or acquire requested information
- Attend all staff meetings
- Other duties may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the Employee.
- Special projects, may be assigned by the Campus Director
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
