HVAC/Plumbing Foreman

The HVAC/Plumbing Foreman will be fully responsible for the successful completion of all aspects of the project work being accomplished by the Mechanical contractor. 

Essential Responsibilities:

• Prepares weekly forecasts and updates and ensures that the contract is managed in a manner that meets all contractual requirements and financial goals.
• Manages the overall operations of the contract, including coordination of turnover meetings, scope of work, construction schedule, customer relations, job cost management, cost control of project, purchasing guidelines, schedule of values, change order management, value decisions, scope management, attendance at project meetings, compliance of project specifications, foreman coordination of project, and the performance of daily operations.
• Evaluates and ensures the efficient operation of the project, controlling operational expenses that is consistent with the project budget and contractual requirements.
• Provides technical direction and supervision of staff assigned to support the project(s).
• Maintains relationships with all groups/individuals associated with projects for which he/she is responsible. This includes customer, vendors, and other internal/external resources involved with the project.
• Advises, discusses, and informs team members on construction matters and problem areas.
• Maintains sufficient records, files, controls, and procedures to ensure management and work production.
• Maintains a strong safety awareness and culture consistent with Century 3 values and supports all safety requirements - both internal and external.
• Provides adequate and complete information to management staff to ensure proper processing of all project correspondence, records, reports, etc. is complete and submitted on time. Proper document control is maintained.

• Trade school certification in HVAC/Plumbing.
• 5 years of Foreman experience in HVAC plumbing and building management controls.
• Must have knowledge of submitting written proposals, scopes of work, scheduling and coordinating site contractors and other assigned personnel.
• Must have an understanding of Building Codes, Mechanical Codes, Electrical Codes and Plumbing Codes as they relate to construction of project.
• Experience with Windows and MS Office, Bluebeam, Procore, and Revit.
• Must have a demonstrated skill of developing and nurturing client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
• Skilled in organizing and leading groups of people.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team and adapting to changing priorities.
• Must be able to walk throughout a large facility, climb stairs, and walk on catwalks.
• OSHA 30 training preferred.
