Career Coaches of Wisconsin is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as summer Job Coaches. Our mission is to empower individuals facing various life challenges, whether physical, mental, or transitional, by providing tailored support and guidance.
As a Job Coach, you will play a pivotal role in our summer programs, assisting our clients to not only perform but excel in their tasks. This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about making a difference and possess a strong desire to foster independence and resilience in others.
Immediate Need:
We have multiple summer position and are looking for job coaches who can work Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays, Mondays 9-5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Provide systematic instruction and breakdown complex work tasks for individuals with diverse challenges.
- Monitor and document daily behavior and progression of clients, contributing to their personal and professional growth.
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to navigate and resolve issues as they arise in a dynamic work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding in all interactions.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older with reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Willingness to undergo training to enhance coaching effectiveness.
- Demonstrated responsibility and efficiency in previous roles.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
Desirable Attributes:
- Experience in special education, rehabilitation, social work, or a related field.
- A patient, empathetic approach with a commitment to inclusive practices.
- Adaptability to meet the varying needs of consumers and the capability to model and reinforce positive behavior and skills.
