Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare site and subdivision plans for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
- Apply experience with stormwater management, storm sewer plans and profiles, outfall analysis, sanitary sewer plans and patterns, water line plans and patterns, water network analysis, public street design, pavement striping, and signage plans
- Review local zoning codes, preliminary entitlements, process requirement submittals, and permitting requirements
- Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to meet deadlines and provide high-quality service to the client
- Prepares detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Identify applicable codes, standards, or other design requirements
- Prepares detailed design calculations and analysis
- Coordinate with other project staff and associated disciplines and / or sub-consultants such as drainage, traffic, water / wastewater, structural and survey
- Performs field reviews and other assessments for use in design
