Transportation Engineer
We are looking for a Transportation Engineer to join our team and help design, analyze, and improve transportation systems, including roads, highways, transit networks, and traffic flow. This role involves conducting traffic studies, developing infrastructure solutions, optimizing transportation efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with urban planners, government agencies, and other engineers to create sustainable and effective transportation solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee transportation projects, including roadway and traffic system improvements
- Conduct traffic analysis and develop models to optimize flow and reduce congestion
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Synchro, and traffic simulation tools
- Work with stakeholders, including government agencies and city planners, to develop effective transportation plans
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain
- Experience with transportation planning, traffic engineering, and roadway design
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in transportation modeling and design software
Salary : $80,000 - $125,000
