CNC Operator - 1st shift

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to work with various tools and machinery. The CNC Operator will ensure that all products meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including milling machines and stamping presses, to fabricate parts according to engineering drawings.
• Utilize press brake machines for bending metal components as required.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
• Use hand tools effectively for assembly and adjustments of components.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products using basic math skills to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Handle materials safely, ensuring proper storage and organization within the workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, including logic controllers.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
• Experience with stamping presses and milling machines is preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools used in fabrication processes.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
• Experience in materials handling, ensuring safe transport and storage of components.
• Welding skills are a plus, enhancing versatility within the production environment.
