Forklift / Machine Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to efficiently load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and mechanical knowledge to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
• Build and organize pallets for efficient storage and transport.
• Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and timely.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to OSHA safety standards.
• Handle materials with care to prevent damage during transportation.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient workflow within the distribution center.
• Operate abtex deburring machine

Required Experience

• Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with crane operation is beneficial but not required.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
