Associate Attorney
Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a boutique firm that focuses on Plaintiffs side Employment Law. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level associate. This position is ideal for recent graduates with California bar passage . We are looking for someone who is dedicated to social justice and we want to train the right candidate to excel in the field of Employment Law
IDEAL CANDIDATE :
The Entry Level Associate will assist with investigations, conducting discovery, and addressing discovery-related issues including learning how to draft motions, oppose and draft judgment motions, and prepare for trial.
DUTIES :
Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
Assist in the drafting of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and investigations.
Support attorneys in litigation processes by preparing case files and organizing evidence.
Participate in meetings and collaborate with team members on case strategies.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for ongoing cases.
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
REQUIREMENTS :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the CA state bar.
Interest in Plaintiff Employment Law
Excellent legal research and writing skills
Proven litigation skills with a track record of managing complex cases.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on client service.
COMPENSATION BENEFITS :
Base Salary Range : $90,000 - $130,000
Plus performance-based incentives
