Legal Assistant
Career Consulting Partners has partnered with an established firm with offices in five major commercial centers across the state of California. For over 70 years, they have kept pace with California’s growth, and with more than 100 attorneys, they have the resources and experience to offer the highest quality representation in a wide variety of legal matters. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join our growing firm.
IDEAL CANDIDATE :
Will have 3 - 6 years of California Litigation experience
Preferred experience includes business litigation, healthcare litigation, and insurance coverage litigation, but this is not required.
REQUIREMENTS :
Knowledge of federal and state court filing rules and procedures
E-filing, preparing tables of contents and authorities
Preparing discovery shells, and very familiar with the litigation life cycle of a case.
Must have excellent proofreading and writing skills, and great attention to detail.
High client interaction and communication.
Excellent follow-up, initiative, organizational, and calendaring skills are required.
Excellent typing, formatting, editing, redlining, and computer software skills needed with specific knowledge of Word 2010 or higher, Outlook, and iManage or similar document management system.
Knowledge of CompuLaw, Best Authority, Adobe Pro, Kofax, Comparite, and CCC Macros is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000
