Settlement Negotiator
Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a Boutique Injury Firm in Century City, California. We are in search of a Settlement Negotiator. In this position, your contribution will be pivotal in assisting our clients in obtaining equitable and rightful compensation for their personal injury claims. Your main duties will involve negotiating with insurance firms, conducting comprehensive research, and championing our clients' rights to secure the rightful compensation they deserve.
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL :
- Assess the value of the case based on medical records, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other damages.
- Determine whether a settlement offer is fair or if further negotiation is needed.
- Engage with defense counsel or insurance adjusters to reach an optimal settlement for the client
- Seek to secure compensation for medical expenses, lost income, etc.
- Work closely with the client to advise them on settlement options, explaining the pros and cons of accepting a settlement versus going to trial.
- Have a strong understanding of personal injury law and case valuation.
- Effective negotiation with defense attorneys or insurance companies.
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to clients and manage their expectations.
