Requirements
- Extensive experience with implementing and managing BI platforms for business intelligence data applications and embedded analytics.
- 10 years of experience in managing BI platforms including Power BI Looker Amazon Quicksight.
- Experience in designing and delivering complex platform architectures.
- Extensive experience with Python programming Shell Scripting and PowerShell Scripting.
- Identify and implement various automation solutions using scripting.
- Have worked on various product APIs to automate Admin functions.
- Extensive knowledge and experience on setting up security using Active Directory Azure AD and Ping Federate.
- Have worked on configuring OAuth SAML configurations for SSO implementation.
- Experience in defining SDLC processes and CI / CD processes using Jenkins.
- Integrating Looker with a Git repo for code commits.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with platform governance and resiliency.
- Power BI Service architecture design and administration including but not limited to Azure and Power BI Administration PBI Premium Capacity Administration and extensive knowledge of Power BI Premium Service as a whole and how to troubleshoot and find opportunities for automation to streamline the daytoday operations of the platform.
- Experience with Looker Setup and Administration.
- Architect and develop data models ETL packages and reports utilizing Power BI applying best practices to the development lifecycle. Data Modeling experience with Kimball method.
- Experience with more than one database tool such as Snowflake Oracle DB2 SQL Server.
- Understanding of various external components that BI tools depend on for successful connectivity including understanding of Network Firewall Proxy etc.
- Integrating Power BI with different tools including but not limited to Splunk Collibra ServiceNow.
- Understanding of prerequisites for a successful connection setup.
- Strong ability to quickly propose solutions by recalling the latest best practices learned from MVP & Product Team articles vendor documentation whitepapers and community publications.
- A passion for understanding and integrating business semantics into technology solutions.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic clientfacing role where delivering solid work products to exceed high expectations is a measure of success.
- Excellent communication presentation influencing and reasoning skills.
- Ability to lead complex projects.
