Senior Accountant-General Ledger

Career Foundations, Inc is seeking a Senior Accountant- General Ledger for one of our best clients. Our client is an international Life Sciences company offering outstanding salary, benefits, and the opportunity to work remotely most of the time!

• Prepare and maintain monthly GL journal entries with sufficient documentation, providing a

clear audit trail

• Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and analyzed on a monthly basis, with

appropriate supporting documentation, and with regular follow-up on any aged items

• Analyze GL account activity and prepare monthly trend analyses
• Prepare organized ad hoc Excel reports on an as-needed basis
• Meet individual objectives and contribute to the achievement of the team's overall objectives

• Advanced Excel skills required

Knowledge and Experience:

• At least 2 years of public accounting experience

• Solid understanding of US GAAP

• Strong background in working in accounting for a large company; international experience preferred

• Experience with Oracle and Hyperion Applications is a plus
