Human Resources Manager

Are you an experienced and dynamic HR Manager? We want to hear from you! Our CONFIDENTIAL client in the Los Angeles area is seeking a talented HR Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will specialize in employee relations, compliance, performance management, and daily HR operations. This role works closely with the Head of HR on strategic initiatives while overseeing the HR Coordinator and Payroll & Benefits Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee US-based employee relations and ensure compliance with labor laws.
• Responsible for recruiting efforts, partnering with the hiring manager, and overseeing onboarding processes with the HR Coordinator.
• Manage performance review processes and employee engagement initiatives.
• Support DEI and succession planning programs under CPO guidance.
• Develop and implement training programs with the HR Coordinator.
• Handle disciplinary actions and conflict resolution for US employees.
• Assist with compensation reviews and pay equity analysis.
• Serve as the HRIS system owner, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications:

• 7 years of HR experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Multi-state experience
• Strong knowledge of US employment regulations.
• Experience in employee relations, engagement, and compliance. Labor union experience a plus.
• Experience working with a large firm/company ( 200 EE's)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
