AVP, Corporate Communications – New York, NY
Global investment bank is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President in Corporate Communications to join its Global Marketing & Communications team based in New York.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage internal programming such as firmwide calls and Town Halls from start to finish, including setting the agenda, drafting content, and managing logistics
- Draft executive level communications, including letters from our CEO, emails from our executive team, and talking points for internal firmwide calls and Town Halls (monthly and Ad Hoc)
- Draft and review other corporate communications (memos, talking points, etc) for personnel announcements, business changes, office openings, and other corporate level developments
- Manage corporate communication channels (including email distribution, intranet, and office screens) to communicate latest business updates to offices around the globe
- Collaborate with Management & Operations colleagues to:
- Create and drive effective internal communications strategies and engagement programs aligned to business and M&O team objectives
- Design internal campaigns related to firmwide policy rollouts, new programs, and other firmwide initiatives
- Partner with Marketing team to update the current website (press releases, bios, office locations, recruiting information, etc.) and engage on the development of our new corporate website to be rolled out in early 2026
- Manage the firm’s intranet platform, including sourcing and producing compelling and newsworthy content, as well as all technical aspects
- Produce weekly internal newsletter
- Draft bios and award submissions for senior employees
- Manage corporate headshots by staying current on joiners and leavers, organizing in-office headshot sessions globally when needed, and maintaining databases in which headshots appear
- Ensure brand and voice is accurately presented across all platforms and communications
- Ensure compliance with all firm policy and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of previous work experience
- Willingness to learn the investment banking business (knowledge is a plus)
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, written, and oral communication skills
- High level of integrity, discretion, and sound judgement, particularly under tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, effectively manage time and tight deadlines and multitask
- Problem solver with a creative mindset
- Comfortable working at an organization with multiple internal and external stakeholder groups
- Proficiency with MS Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Compensation: $130-145K base plus discretionary bonus
This role is onsite in Manhattan four days a week.
Salary : $130,000 - $145,000
