A Top Streaming Service is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Employee Services Generalist to support the launch and day-to-day operations of an innovative, guest-facing entertainment venue. This individual will play a vital role in delivering a smooth and high-touch employee experience, working closely with on-site HR leaders and cross-functional partners across HR, Payroll, Finance, and Talent Operations.
**This role will begin as part-time, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR operations contact on-site, supporting employees through key lifecycle moments from onboarding to offboarding.
- Act as a liaison between on-site HR leadership and centralized HR teams to ensure consistent service delivery and issue resolution.
- Develop, document, and optimize operational workflows and process frameworks.
- Lead or support special projects related to process improvement, compliance, and knowledge management.
- Create and maintain clear work instructions, job aids, playbooks, and internal communications.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Benefits, Mobility, Talent Acquisition) to support HR operations and venue launch activities.
- Identify and resolve complex HR inquiries or escalations in collaboration with centralized HR teams.
- Monitor and adapt to changing business needs, ensuring operational practices remain scalable and compliant.
- Support ongoing compliance initiatives, adapting to evolving regional and industry regulations.
- Provide general administrative and ad hoc support as needed.
Ideal candidates will have:
- 3–4 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, HRBP, or related HR functions
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of HR lifecycle processes and employment/labor laws
- Experience with HR systems and ticketing platforms (e.g., Zendesk)
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage insights to improve processes
- Proficiency in creating documentation, such as job aids, process maps, and presentations
- Exceptional time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work across time zones and adjust to shifting priorities
- Bonus points for: retail or hospitality experience, HR or project management certifications
