Our client, a leader in cryptocurrency, is seeking a professional and service-oriented Guest Services Specialist to join their Workplace Experience team in their San Francisco office. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience for all employees, guests, and vendors. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional service in a dynamic office environment.
**Please note this is a 12-month, onsite, contract role in San Francisco, CA. Pay will be $26/hr.**
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome.
- Manage visitor registration and coordinate access in collaboration with on-site security.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with employees, vendors, and building management to support evolving office needs.
- Ensure the reception area is consistently clean, organized, and reflective of a professional environment.
- Report and follow up on janitorial and maintenance needs, including spills, paint touch-ups, and equipment issues.
- Monitor and respond to workplace support tickets, email inquiries, and Slack messages in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide administrative support to the Workplace Experience team, including supply management, meeting coordination, and document organization.
- Assist with or independently manage special projects and contribute to ongoing improvements in team operations and service delivery.
- Maintain regular communication with the Workplace Experience team regarding office access, badges, and Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
- Receive and coordinate deliveries from vendors, ensuring appropriate distribution and tracking.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospitality, reception, or workplace services.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a calm, professional, and customer-focused demeanor.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Experience providing event support is preferred.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Slack is required.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Availability to be on-site daily is required.
