Operations Analyst

A well-known Investment firm is seeking a highly motivated Operations Analyst to join their Real Estate Investing team within the Asset & Wealth Management. This is a full-time, on-site role in Dallas, TX, starting immediately and running through the end of the year (10-11 months).

The position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on covenant operations, investment monitoring, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with Portfolio & Asset Managers, Capital Markets Teams, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operational support.
• Developing a comprehensive understanding of diverse investments, bespoke transactions, and corporate governance practices.
• Managing project documentation and conducting financial testing to assess investment health.
• Proactively identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational workflows.
• Supporting deal onboarding, entity creation, asset servicing, and infrastructure enhancements.
• Staying informed of market trends and adapting to the evolving scope of responsibilities.
• Leveraging subject matter expertise to provide solutions for complex transactions and maintain high standards of risk management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably in real estate investing or asset management. Strong internship experience is also acceptable.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with internal stakeholders at various experience levels.
• Self-motivated, proactive team player with strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities.
• Adaptable and able to perform under pressure in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge of or experience with legal contracts is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools focused on process optimization and operational improvements is a plus.
