Travel / Personal Assistant - Remote
NYC based entrepreneur is seeking a Personal Assistant who can help with errands, personal shopping and appointment making. More importantly, there is a travel coordination component; we would love someone who enjoys researching, coordinating and executing detailed travel itineraries
- Must have extensive travel experience including building itinerates, booking flights, arranging ground transportation, and excursions. Available during trip to make changes and support family in real time.
- Support the Senior Assistant in daily tasks, calendar management, reservations, phone calls to vendors.
- Research projects (examples include family weekend activities, volunteer opportunities, exhibits in the city, vendors, doctors, travel).
- Tracking vitamin regimen in a spreadsheet and preparing/delivering trays to the Principal’s office.
- Proactive planning – principal would like assistant to be a “forward thinker” and present him with ideas for travel and entertainment (examples include hottest restaurants in NYC/Hamptons, best places to take families for Spring break, music festivals happening around the world, etc).
- Assist the controller with light accounting duties in QuickBooks (data entry, credit card transaction import), Dropbox filing and organization, and various accounts payable projects and follow ups.
- Must be able to support principal on weekends in a timely manner (reservation changes, questions about the calendar/plans, booking cars, buying tickets).
Other Details:
- Health and dental benefits available after one month
- Remote work, but must be available to attend on-site meetings at least once a week
- Running errands in Manhattan will be requested occasionally
- Family office experience preferred but not required
- Must be located in the NY Tri-state area
