Structural Engineering Leader

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team at Rubb Building Systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong background in both design and project management. A Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, along with relevant certifications, is preferred.

The Senior Structural Engineer will take on a leadership role, mentoring junior engineers and ensuring the successful execution of large-scale projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Structural Design & Analysis: Design and analyze complex structural systems for our buildings, using advanced engineering software and methodologies.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring the team maintains high technical standards.
• Client Interaction: Interface with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are aligned and that design requirements are met.
• Codes & Standards Compliance: Ensure designs comply with local, national, and international building codes and industry standards.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct peer reviews of design calculations, reports, and technical documents to maintain the highest engineering standards.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in project design and implementation, providing solutions to mitigate such risks.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with the Project Management team, from concept through to completion, ensuring projects meet time, budget, and quality requirements.
• Construction Support: Offer on-site support during the construction phase, including site visits, inspections, and coordination with contractors to resolve engineering issues.
