Quality Assurance Specialist – Sellersville, PA
Are you passionate about ensuring high-quality care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)? We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support our residential programs and uphold our commitment to excellence.
Qualifications:
✅ Minimum age: 18
✅ Education: High School Diploma/GED
✅ Experience: At least 2 years in the IDD field
✅ Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 6400 licensing standards
✅ Requirements: Valid driver's license (clean 3-year record) and ability to lift 50 lbs
Role Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will visit residential programs to ensure staff are providing proper supervision, adhering to policies, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment. You will also provide training, oversee medication administration, and assist with staffing needs when required.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Monitor staff compliance with individual support plans (ISPs) and safety protocols
🔹 Conduct random site visits, including overnight checks
🔹 Review Medication Administration Records (MARs)
🔹 Train staff on ISPs, protocols, and quality standards
🔹 Provide on-site support and report health/safety concerns
🔹 Assist with crisis management and on-call support
🔹 Document findings and report to leadership in weekly meetings
🔹 Facilitate fire safety training, medication administration training, and emergency drills
🔹 Accompany individuals and staff to emergency rooms if necessary
🔹 Administer medications and cover shifts as needed
Schedule & Work Environment:
📅 Full-time (32 hours/week) – Includes 1-2 weekdays, every other weekend, and occasional overnight shifts for monitoring. Flexibility is required.
