Now Hiring : Training Specialist (Hybrid - Cumberland, RI) 🚨

We are seeking a Training Material & Subject Matter Expert to develop and deliver training programs for our Contact Center team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring employees are fully equipped to provide a best-in-class customer experience. The ideal candidate is someone who can create , develop , and deliver top notch training materials.

Position Details :

  • Location : Hybrid – Work from home Monday & Friday, in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday (Cumberland, RI)
  • Start Date : 2 / 24 / 2025 | End Date : 8 / 24 / 2025
  • Hours : 40 per week

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and deliver instructor-led training, job aids, and e-learning modules
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance training programs based on business needs
  • Track and report program effectiveness, assessments, and areas for improvement
  • Stay up to date with training trends and leverage learning management systems

    • What We're Looking For :

  • Bachelor’s degree OR 5 years of progressive training experience
  • Experience designing and facilitating technical / operational training programs
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Utility experience preferred but not required

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of Rhode Island Energy’s policies, processes, and systems
  • Understanding of customer experience within a regulated environment

    • This role requires someone who can both develop content and deliver it while becoming a subject matter expert .
