Job needed skills:
This position deals with maintenance of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water treatment equipment such as, but not limited to the following:
Pumps (centrifugal, split case, submersible, positive displacement, diaphragm, vertical turbine) valves, piping, gearboxes, air systems, gas compressors, gas service turbine generator, grit chambers and chemical systems (sodium hypochlorite, Hydrofluorosilicic acid, Aqueous ammonia, Sodium aluminate, and Sodium hydroxide caustic soda).
This candidate will be able to troubleshoot any of the above listed equipment as well as perform predictive and preventative maintenance utilizing the following tools and technologies; perform alignments on pumps and motors, utilize laser alignment equipment on blowers and motors; be able to perform vibration and ultrasound testing on motors, gearboxes, pumps, and blowers with provided vibration and ultrasound tools.
Candidate should possess advanced knowledge of preventative maintenance practices, procedures and technics for lubrication and greasing of all above equipment.
