What are the responsibilities and job description for the .NET Engineer position at Career Movement?
Our client, a longstanding business with a deep impact in their industry, is looking for a software engineer to join their team. This position is fully remote outside of meetings that are held quarterly in Lexington.
Under the general direction of the Director of Software Development, the Software Developer is directly responsible for coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting software throughout the application development process.
Responsibilities:
- Design scalable architecture that follows the development guidelines provided and build projects to specifications
- Serve as a resource for other developers and perform code reviews as required.
- Participate in regular scrum meetings and attend staff meetings as needed.
- Relationships with Directors and other staff are productive and will promote a positive remote work environment.
Required skills:
- Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Core, & SQL.
- Highly preferred experience with VB.NET
- Experience with Xamarin/Maui Development is a plus but not required.
- Agile Development methodology knowledge a plus.
- Experience with GIT and familiarity with code versioning practices on teams, i.e. branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, etc.
Salary: Up to 135K with full benefits
