About the Role:
Are you ready to dive into the world of credit analysis and make a significant impact? As a Credit Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of evaluating credit data and financial information for our valued customers. Your role will be crucial in assessing the credit risk and worthiness of new and existing accounts. You'll have the opportunity to; analyze and evaluate by assessing accounts for extended credit terms setting appropriate credit limits and collaborating and resolving by partnering with our dynamic field sales team and customers to tackle account delinquencies head-on.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Credit Review: Review flagged accounts, contact customers to resolve issues, and release orders for shipment.
- Risk Analysis: Process credit applications, analyze payment history, and determine payment terms and credit limits.
- Collections: Contact past-due accounts, offer payment options, and process payments.
- Research: Address customer requests to resolve payment delays.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Customer Solutions and Field Sales to resolve order processing and shipping delays.
- Customer Master Data: Assess creditworthiness and assign credit limits for new accounts.
- Reporting: Provide data reports to the AR Manager, highlighting changes in past due balances.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Credit or Financial Analyst.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated intermediate Excel skills.
- Demonstrated research and data evaluation skills.
It's a plus, if you have:
- BA degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Experience with SAP.
- Experience in interpreting credit reports such as Experian and Dun & Bradstreet.
