A brief Summary 

The Senior Dashboard Developer supports Merz Aesthetics' Global digital transformation. This role will primarily focus on our Salesforce ecosystem including Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud and ancillary systems (OCE, Docebo, etc.).This position will drive marketing and customer experience analytics using Tableau and Analytics Studio. You will work with global stakeholders to gather requirements and translate those into high-value solutions while educating and supporting regional data analytics teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce functionalities and data structures to effectively query, extract, clean, analyze, and interpret data stored within our ecosystem to identify insights that inform business decisions. This position also requires strong technical acumen and exceptional troubleshooting abilities.

What you will do

• Dashboard Design & Development :
• Design, develop, conduct unit testing, and maintain complex Tableau reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use.
• Data will be sourced from our Salesforce Ecosystem (other sources could include Google Analytics, Sprout Social and SAP).
• Work with product managers and business/reporting analysts to design useful reports and dashboards that provide value-added business insights.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency by developing a standardized set of software coding and style guides.
• Diagnose and resolve any problems related to data, dashboards, or reports.
• Maintain and enhance existing Tableau dashboards and reports
• Data Acquisition & Analysis:
• Collaborate with stakeholders, such as sales, marketing, and customer success teams, to understand and source their data needs.
• Lead the identification and acquisition of data required for analytical reporting and ensure it is in the correct format, is available, and has the correct permissions.
• Integrate data from multiple sources using data blending and relationships.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system enhancements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assess and govern validation rules within Salesforce
• Communication:
• Conduct periodic touchpoints with businesses to share best practices and innovations and evaluate upcoming requirements
• Present written recommendations, requirements, and insights to senior leaders and stakeholders, facilitating prioritization and influencing the global roadmap.
• High facilitation and collaboration skills

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) In computer science, Information technology or related field
• 3-5 years Experience with data analysis and reporting within the Salesforce platform
• 2-3 years of hands-on software development experience with Tableau and/or Analytics Studio.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts
• Working knowledge of Salesforce Data/Object model.
• Some familiarity with cloud base database solutions like Salesforce Data Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google, SAP DWC, SAP Data Sphere, Snowflake, etc.
• Proven expertise with data visualization tools such as Tableau, SAC, Power BI.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager.
• Ability to work closely with data analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Technical & Functional Skills:

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining Tableau driven dashboards & analytics.
• Ability to query and display large data sets while maximizing the performance of workbook.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into a technical solution.
• Working knowledge of Tableau administrator/architecture.
• Advanced Tableau development skills required.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce features, objects, and data structures.
• Strong knowledge of and understanding of how to leverage the Salesforce data model.
• Excellent knowledge of database concepts and extensive hands-on experience working with SQL.
• Comprehensive understanding of data visualization best practices.
• Familiarity with data warehouse and integration tools.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics data and integration to Tableau.
• Ability to work cohesively across departments, building consensus and producing results. 
• Strong project management skills.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with software development life cycle.
• Strong organizational abilities, with a track record of successfully completing data-driven initiatives.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word and comfort with large variety of online meeting tools.
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated history of teamwork and cross functional collaboration.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with data analysis, modeling, and ETL processes is advantageous.
