we are seeking a Director of Leasing, Restaurant & Entertainment who will manage, grow, and improve the in-line food, beverage and entertainment offerings throughout the Tanger portfolio. This position will report directly to the Senior Director, Restaurant & Leasing with geographic flexibility to work remotely offered by Tanger’s hub-and-spoke approach to a modern Teams-driven workplace.
About the Role:
As the Director of Leasing, Restaurant & Entertainment, you will be responsible for renewing existing tenants, and prospecting for new and relevant local, regional, and national concepts with high commercial value to bring to the Tanger portfolio as we curate a lifestyle center environment at all of our centers.

How you will contribute to what we do:
- Maintain robust list of target prospective food, beverage, and entertainment (FB&E) concepts, utilize Salesforce to ensure information is accurate and up to date, maintain notes on all conversations and attempts to reach contacts.
- Maintain an active profile on all B2B channels (LinkedIn, ICSC etc.) to ensure Tanger is a credible and visible industry leader.
- Underwrite operators (corporate and franchisee) including operational experience and financial strength to determine fit for potential opportunities.
- Manage existing FB&E accounts throughout an assigned region of the Tanger portfolio., renewing tenants where appropriate.
- Thoroughly vet tenants’ financial strength, conduct credit reviews with FP&A and structure the best deals for Tanger ensure concept success while minimizing overall risk.
- Work with asset managers on the appropriate FB&E mix for the market, demographics, and overall merchandising strategy for each asset. Create an asset level strategy focused on curation of the overall FB&E offerings at each center and execute to the plan.
- Assist with the management of budgeting and forecasting of all permanent rental income for assigned FB&E accounts/ assigned region.
- Leverage Insights & Analytics to develop and maintain data driven strategies and custom pitches for the right local, regional and national brands and uses to pursue in each market.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the annual budget, quarterly EBITDA statement, leasing activity and related critical dates, tenant sales and trends, monthly traffic comps, market, trade area, and customer demographics for the entire portfolio.
- Serve as the market expert specific to any regions where you are a primary leasing contact for an asset there including in-depth knowledge of relevant concepts, operators, competitive projects, new deals, etc.
About You:
- You have a BS or BA degree from accredited college or university or equivalent work or military experience.
- You have six (6) to eight (8) years of experience in real estate leasing.
- You excel at forming productive and mutually beneficial inter- and intra-departmental relationships as needed to achieve leasing and Company goals.
- You have a high energy level and can execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities.
- You possess a high level of competency around analyzing financial terms, advocating for Tanger’s position and asserting influence through a strong command of business points to negotiate the best possible outcome for the Company.
- You have in-depth knowledge of merchandising, deal structures and lease terminology.
- You have excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- You are self-motivated, self-directed, and exercise independent judgment.
- You can procure, maintain, and grow relationships with prospective and existing tenants.
- You have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- You can prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment through frequent interruptions and changing deadlines.
- You possess strong research and analytical skills.
- You demonstrate integrity, flexibility and the capacity to learn.
- You have an expert ability to carefully prepare for meetings, travel, and conferences.
- You are detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Hiring Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Tanger's total compensation package for employees.
Hiring Range: $122,400 to $187,500 per year
