Summary:
The EDI Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of CFC’s Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) operations. The position works closely with our third-party EDI vendor, various internal departments and external EDI customers to establish CFC’s specifications and meet customers’ requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Design, document, and maintain flow of transactions (primarily EDI 810, 850, & 856) with trading partners.
- Interact with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance departments on a regular basis to ensure all systems are communicating efficiently.
- Coordinate the creation (mapping and setup) of new trading partners and modifications for existing trading partners.
- Establish/Manage processes for root cause analysis and corrective action to eliminate transactional errors.
- Work with trading partners to troubleshoot and resolve EDI transaction errors in a timely manner.
- Audit EDI processes to ensure all customer expectations and requirements are being met.
- Improve efficiency by eliminating redundant tasks employing automation often through the coordination within house ERP developers.
- Coordinate testing for ERP upgrades and implementations to support EDI transactions.
- Gather and interpret EDI technical specifications and implementation guides and assist with issue resolution.
Requirements:
- One year of experience working in a computer system, technical, or IT role
Salary: $55,000 - $58,000
